Description

SuperStar took their SS-158 series of amateur radios and kicked it up a notch. This new edition boasts a whopping 400 watts of output power. They're all mode so you can take advantage of AM, FM, or single sideband. Comes with a rear mounted cooling fan as well as fans built-in to the bottom heatsink to keep the internal components cool.

Another unique feature is the auto-dimming display lights. A photo sensor built-in to the radio's faceplate senses the ambient lighting and adjusts the brightness to match so you're not blinding yourself when you turn on the radio at night.
